Founder
Dr. Insup Cho
Founder and Managing Partner
Dr. Cho has practised family law exclusively since 2004, before specialist certification existed in Korea. When the Korean Bar Association introduced its specialist system in 2016, she was registered as its first certified family law specialist (Family Law Specialist No. 1).
She holds a Doctor of Laws for a comparative study of the formalities of wills under Korean, Japanese, German and French law, and contributed the commentary on Civil Code Articles 1060 to 1072 (wills) to the Onju Commentary on the Korean Civil Code.
She received a commendation from the Minister of Gender Equality and Family for representing the child victim in the Cho Doo-soon case.
She has presented the Korean divorce system to international audiences, including the ABA Section of International Law Family Law Conference (2014) and the 39th LAWASIA Conference in Seoul (2026), where she spoke on property division, inherited assets and cross-border enforcement in Korea.
